After spending years working at agencies on award-winning digital products, Akeem Philbert started Wepala as a way to work on great projects all the time. We have cobbled together some of the best and brightest from around the world to make your dream come true.

Everyone has that one friend who is always coming up with crazy ideas, well (un)fortunately in our case that crazy friend is the founder. Leading the charge by exploring new technology, Akeem brings years of experience having worked with many leading agencies on projects for some of the biggest brands.
A family man, entrepeneur and team leader, Akeem is always using technology to help with his responsibilities; occasionaly taking breaks to play Overwatch, travel and share knowledge gained through mistakes made.
Francis is an old friend of Akeem (founder) and often the first to hear his crazy ideas. With years of experience in quality management and audit, he’s all about making the fun stuff we come up with viable and sustainable.
Out of the office, Francis is all about family, music, photography and casual gaming. Known for being “meat-mouth”, Francis loves a wide range of meats and a juicy steak tops this expansive list!
The abnormally normal person in the group, this Account Manager seeks to keep projects, everything else and everyone else running like well oiled machines! Ensuring that miletones are achieved and achieved on schedule is a big deal for this position.
Lynissa is the most probable suspect to break or spill things around the office (always with good intentions but much to the annoyance of fellow developers). This Account Manager likes the exciting challenges, experiences and opportunities for growth and development that Wepala offers. Outside of the office she finds joy in nature walks, taking scenic pictures, participating in races, being involved in community projects, binge watching shows on Netflix and enjoying a delicious pasta dish!
Marcus likes the easy way out, that’s why he’s a server side developer. He brings services to life by developing APIs, and if he’s good at it he can automate his job away.
When he’s not contemplating code aesthetics, his mind is probably on video games, anime, growing the regional developer community, new music, Real Madrid, art exhibitions, adopting a puppy and social democratic states - in no particular order.
Matthew Boodoo spends his time as a server side developer, where he mainly works on API’s. He does not hold any special ties to a particular language or platform, but believes in the best tool for the job at hand, and that always leaves him learning new things.
When he’s not pounding away at the keyboard, His eyes are glued to his viewfinder capturing images, working in the garden, trying new foods or just simply reading an interesting article or book.
Salahuddeen Ahmed aka Sala. The one whose name no one can pronounce. He works as a server side developer.
Always has to have white noise in the background as he works. In addition to code his other loves are bread and cheese and his wife.
Kevin is a server side developer who knows all the secrets behind building APIs. He's always up for a challenge or learning something new.
Kevin is also an avid dog lover and budding digital artist. Just bring him some cajun fries and a good anime and he's a very happy guy.
Simon messes around with front-end technologies, building interfaces for mobile and web applications. He's always staying on top of the latest UI trends much to our clients' delight.
Apart from UI wizardry, he is a football enthusiast, Messi aficionado and an advocator for PC gaming.
